On March 28, Chuck and Erin Benbow celebrated their marriage with family and friends at Oakhurst. The ceremony was indoors with a beautiful Air Force "Arch of Swords" salute. Here is a peek into their special day!
Oakhurst is a Centennial Farm that has been in Lynda Marlowe's family since 1901. It was operated for most of those years as a dairy farm. The farm was acquired by Lon and Lynda in 1978 who, with their son Morgan, and daughter Ellie operated the farm as a cattle and hay farm.
In 2001, the Marlowes began to create the setting for special events that you see here in this website.
Whether you are planning a wedding, business conference or family reunion, be prepared for a unique experience at Oakhurst. Set in the middle of a family farm that has been in operation for over 100 years, the Gardens and Hall are an unparalleled combination of elegance and country charm which will make your event truly special.
The elegant lakeside setting is the perfect location for weddings and receptions as well as corporate or civic meetings and social events.
Oakhurst is located in Harris County, approximately 12 miles west of Pine Mountain, Georgia. It is a convenient drive whether you are coming from Columbus, LaGrange, West Point, Pine Mountain, or even Newnan and Atlanta.
